HOW CAN I TRACK MY ORDER?
We use a variety of delivery services depending on your shipping address. Once your order has been dispatched, you will be sent an email containing the shipping information, including a tracking number. If you need an update on the delivery progress of your order or wish to change the delivery date, please contact the relevant shipping service provider. HOW LONG WILL DELIVERY TAKE? Our home accessories and small items are usually delivered together within 3-4 working days via our parcel courier. Providing you give a number, you’ll receive a text message prior to delivery. For sofa, furniture, large item / bulky deliveries and all made to order items, we will contact you at least 10 days ahead to arrange a delivery date that suits you. An indicative timescale for delivery is shown on the individual product details. While we deliver to most areas in UK and Ireland, we are unable to guarantee delivery within our usual lead-times to certain areas. These include Ireland, Highlands & Islands, Channel Islands, Isles of Scilly and the Isle of Man. These areas also incurr a higher delivery charge. WHAT IF I AM NOT IN WHEN YOU DELIVER? Small items delivered by courier will be left in a safe location when available. If there’s no safe place, the courier will leave a card to rearrange delivery and usually a redelivery attempt will take place on the next working day. Should you not be home on the third attempt, the item will be sent back to the depot and back to ourselves. Should this happen, a delivery charge will be incurred which will need to be paid by you prior to the item being re delivered. For all other items you need to call our online sales team on 01753 911541 to organise a re-delivery. This will incur a delivery charge that must be paid for in full before re-delivery. WHAT IF MY ORDER ARRIVES DAMAGED, FAULTY OR INCORRECT?
If you notice as soon as it arrives, write this on the delivery note that you are asked to sign by our delivery partners. Then contact our online sales team on 01753 911541 within 7 days of receipt of your order. WHAT IF ONLY PART OF MY ORDER HAS ARRIVED? Home accessories and smaller items are delivered separately from furniture, bulky or large items. If you have placed an order with both small and large items, it is normal to receive these separately. If you ordered more than one large item, they will be delivered together when both are in stock. If you have a question or haven’t received everything, call us on 01753 911541 CAN I CHANGE THE DELIVERY ADDRESS? If you have ordered accessories and small or stock items on 3-4 days, we may not be able to redirect as it’s likely to be on its way. DO I NEED AN ACCOUNT TO PLACE AN ORDER?
No, you can choose to checkout as a guest. However, you must have a registered account in order to make a return. Other benefits of signing up to an account include order tracking, review past orders, save address details, and manage email preferences. WHAT PAYMENT METHODS ARE AVAILABLE? UK STANDARD / EXPRESS DELIVERY UNDER £75
Our Parcel Delivery option is available for most of our home accessories*, gifts*, lighting* and even some smaller items of furniture*. To provide a high quality service for our customers, we use specialist couriers for the majority of our parcel deliveries. Standard delivery is a 3 - 5 day service for all stock items from receipt of order. For all small items under £75 spend there is from a £4.95 nominal charge for small parcels and from £6.95 charge for large parcels (not furniture) where a number of items have been consolidated or for a single, larger item. Delivery will be made to the front door of your house, but packaging will not be taken away by the carrier. For an Express Delivery Service, 1 - 3 working days, a charge of from £10.95 is applicable on all in stock small parcels and from £15.95 on all in stock large parcels. Please refer to the scale below for applicable charges in your region. LARGE / BULKY ITEM STANDARD DELIVERY
Most furniture and large items are delivered by our bespoke two-man Furniture Delivery service. For all orders over £1,500 and within the M25 this service is Free for kerbside / ground floor 'through the door' deliveries. All other large deliveries start from £50. To ensure your order is delivered in perfect condition, please take note of the below information to determine the best service option for your item(s); Orders up to £1,500 UK Home Delivery Service within M25 - £50* UK Home Delivery Service outside M25 - £75* NI, Isle of Man, Highlands & Islands - from £120* Orders over £1,500 UK Home Delivery Service within M25 - Free* UK Home Delivery Service outside M25 - £55* NI, Isle of Man, Highlands & Islands - from £100* * Delivery is kerbside or what we class a 'through the door' delivery. Packaging is not taken away by the carrier. For a Premium, Bespoke or Special Service please refer to the below SPECIALIST DELIVERY / INSTALLATION SERVICE Since the founders of scandibøx have worked in the design industry for over 25 years, we are able to offer a number of special delivery services other retailers will not often provide. For ease these have been categorised into the following. The price for each of these services is based on location, item(s) ordered, access conditions, works required. Given the number of variants involved it is important that one of our Customer Services team discuss this with you direct, whether by email on hello@scandibox.com or phone on 01753 911541. Premium Service Delivery This service allows for your goods to be taken to your room of choice providing there are no access restrictions or special requirements to consider. Your Customer Services representative will discuss this with you in detail to ensure this is the correct service level for you. You will then be provided with a price based on the information you have given. Bespoke Service Delivery This service is otherwise known as a 'white glove service'. Your goods will be delivered to your room of choice, unwrapped and all packaging taken away. This service also provides the option for the items to be assembled and installed. The price for all of this is once again obtained by discussing directly with one of the Scandibøx team. Special Service Delivery Occasionally we come across a project where access is highly restricted, or where clients have been disappointed they have been unable to purchase a particular item due to access. In these circumstances, it has been necessary to arrange for a hoist, mini crane and other specialist equipment to be hired with the relevant teams and expertise to ensure the furniture can be delivered safely. An initial assessment would be required on site to determine accurate costs after providing you with an initial estimated price based on the information you provide. UK RETURNS
UNHAPPY
If you are unhappy with your purchase, under Distant Selling Regulations you can return the items to us within 14 days of receipt of your goods for a full refund. Items bought online are returned at your own expense, unless damaged, and should be unused, returned in their original packaging and in a fully resalable condition. Scandibøx will not accept responsibility for loss or damage when returning an item to us through your initiative. In these circumstances, you are responsible for loss or damage. Until the goods are returned to us, you have a legal obligation to take reasonable care of the goods while they are in your possession. If you fail to comply with this obligation or the goods have been unnecessarily handled by you, we may make a deduction from any refund due to you. We strongly recommend using a trackable and insured shipping service if a product is returned. It is not obligatory, but we recommend using the original packaging or similar to avoid damage when returning a product to us. ITEMS NOT ELIGiBLE FOR FULL REFUND Furniture and Made to Order items are not eligable for refund, unless faulty. To obtain a refund you must take reasonable care of the goods. If you fail to do so, we reserve the right to refuse the refund or deduct a charge based on the condition of the goods. We may ask to review the goods through an independent inspection before a refund is given. Your statutory rights are not affected. Scandibøx is not responsible for Made to Order items that are not needed anymore. Scandibøx is not responsible for Made to Order items that cannot be delivered to the delivery address. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that there is proper access to the delivery address for all items that are ordered. We suggest measuring all doorways and entryways, as well as any related dimensions, of which will affect the usage of the items. DAMAGED OR FAULTY GOODS
Our products are covered by the manufacturers independant warranties. This can be found in the product literature or online product information which can be viewed before purchase. Where no warranty information is given, it is assumed no warranty period is provided by the manufacturer. However, should you receive goods from us which are in any way faulty, you should in the first instance contact one of our Customer Services team on 01753 911541 or email hello@scandibox.com giving as much detail as possible about the nature of the problem. If the item is damaged upon receipt, please send an email to hello@scandibox.com sending photographs clearly showing evidence of the damage. State your order number as a reference and include your telephone number. If you are aware of the damage whilst the courior is delivering, you should NOT accept the item and make a clear note on the delivery document to say why you have refused to accept delivery. A new item will be sent out to you as soon as possible, or a full refund offered whichever is your preference. RETURN PROCEDURE Refunds are only accepted and processed based on the following scenarios. We ask that you please contact the Customer Services team by email to pre-authorize any refund before returning any items to us: If Items Have NOT Been Dispatched We can cancel and refund Made to Order items only if cancellation is requested before the item has been put into production. You can cancel an order by calling 01753 911541 or by writing an email to hello@scandibox.com from the email address listed on the order. If accepted, a refund will be processed within 14 working days back to the debit/credit card used to make original purchase. If Items Have Been Dispatched We can refund all other items, if a customer can contact us over the phone or via email within 14 days of when you have received your order. Previously noted items (Furniture and Made to Order) are not eligible for refund. We reserve the right to decline any refund after 14 days of receipt of items. Once your items have been returned and checked, if accepted, a refund will be processed within 14 business days back to the debit/credit card used to make original purchase. Delivery charges will not be refunded, and the cost of returning the items safely is the customers’ responsibility. |
